To cut large holes for single-handled valves, drillpilot holes with a 1/4-in. drill bit and cut the hole with a jigsaw equipped with a blade for shower pipes, tub spouts, and two-and three-handled valves can be cut with an ordinary 1-1/4 in. hole saw.
